Lichen Biodiversity, Jun 22 ~ Abbott's Mill Nature Center

Celebrate nature's biodiversity at Abbott's Mill by exploring lichens. Director Mike Valenti will share his knowledge about these interesting symbiotic organisms with a first-hand look at the many species that commonly occur in our area. The exploration of Abbott's lichens will include a walkabout of approximately 1.5 miles as we explore the tremendous diversity of this little-known group of fungal-algal symbionts.
