Walk Abbott's Mill trails to enjoy wonderful, forested ecosystems and learn to identify trees during winter without using leaf characteristics. Abbott's Mill Site Director and experienced forester, Michael Valenti, will guide the way to learn identification techniques for common native species using bud, bark, and tree branching characteristics. The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles and participants are encouraged to bring along their favorite tree identification field guide. Led by Michael Valenti, Abbott's Mill Site Director.
