Become a "Pop-Up Birder"! Please join us for one or all of the seven pop-up bird walks on Friday, February 15th celebrating the Great Backyard Bird Count. All walks are free - just show up!
The bird walks begin at 9am and run through 3pm. Please refer to the listing below for exact locations:
• 9am - Newark Reservoir Parking Lot, Old Paper Mill Rd., Newark – Led by Judy Montgomery
• 10am - Brandywine Town Center Movie Theater – Led by Joe Sebastiani
• 11am - Tri-state Bird Rescue, Possum Hollow Rd., Newark – Led by Judy Montgomery
• 12pm - BlackRock Incorporated, 100 Bellevue Parkway, Wilmington – Led by Joe Sebastiani and Kathie O’Neil
• 1pm - Dupont Environmental Education Center, Wilmington Riverfront – Led by Ian Stewart
• 2pm - Paper Mill Park, Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark – Led by Judy Montgomery
• 3pm - Valley Garden Park, Rt. 82, Greenville – Led by Jim White
