Canoe Dragon Run Marsh, a large freshwater wetland, in search of blooming wetland plants, mammals like Beaver, Muskrat, Otter, and abundant birdlife.  Late summer is a great time to be on the water here, as many plants will be blooming and birds will be out with their newly-hatched young. 
Learn why this is an extremely important habitat in Delaware as you slowly glide past the wildlife and beautiful vegetation of this "freshwater slough". 
This trip will meet at Ashland for the van trip there, and canoes will be provided. No canoeing experience necessary. Led by Jim White. Van transportation is included. Preregistration required.
