Saturdays, Sep 19 - Oct 24
This is a 6-week hands-on program designed for children to connect with nature and farming through real-life experiences. Throughout the session, participants will explore animal husbandry by engaging with our animals and learning about their roles on the farm. They’ll get their hands dirty in the garden, learning and growing in both vegetable and flower fields, and spend time in the kitchen creating delicious recipes using ingredients that are grown on the farm. It’s an immersive experience that builds practical understanding, responsibility, and respect for how farm and nature can work together. To close out the season, Young Farmers will have the chance to share what they've learned with the public at our Halloween at the Farm event on Friday, October 24th. Please note that this final session will be held at a different time than our regular weekly meetings.
