Walk Coverdale Farm Preserve to see woodland that had been recently burned with prescribed fire. Look for and identify spring ephemeral wildflowers that are in bloom. Spring Beauty, Trout Lily, Bloodroot, and many other species are a burst of spring by mid-April. Learn about their natural history, see how plants are responding to a prescribed fire, and look for pollinators attracted to the plants, and try to spot some early migrant songbirds as well.Led by Joe Sebastiani.
