Winter Insects and Other Creatures ~ Virtual and Field Trip

In Winter, insects and other creatures can be out and about as a normal part of their lives. Learn about the insects that come out in winter, and the variety of life that is normally active at this time of year. In this two-part program, enjoy a lecture by Jim White, Senior Fellow for Land and Biodiversity, as he explores the small wonders of winter, from insects to amphibians. Follow up the lecture with a field trip to Ashland Nature Center for search these creatures out, and learn about their life cycles while you enjoy a winter field trip.

Zoom lecture: February 10, 6-7:30pm; Field trip: February 12, 1-3pm field trip.
