Explore local battlefields and fortifications to understand the impact of terrain and nature on historical events. Explore and examine the natural ecosystems of these areas. Visit and tour the sites of the battle of the Brandywine (Revolutionary War), Fort Delaware (Civil War to WWII) and Fort DuPont (Spanish American War to WWII). Learn how nature is a prime factor in shaping both local and world history. Van transportation for field trips included. No camp 6/19 for Juneteenth.
